Revelation 8:6-13 (2)

Revelation 8:6-13 (2)

In Revelation 8:6-13 the first four trumpets sound. As there were seven seals, so too, now there are seven trumpets. Both trumpets and seals are described in connection with suffering but with a key difference: the trumpets particularly highlight God’s judgment on unbelief. The blowing of the first four trumpets show that all who set themselves against God will be judged. This is done partially in this life as a warning of what will come at the end of time.
