Get the inside perspective With so much going on in your own life, your family, and your local church, it can be difficult to keep up with foreign missions. When we lose touch with our missionaries and their work, we also tend to lose interest: it is difficult to pray for them, to prioritize giving to missions, and to consider how to send new missionaries, or even go ourselves. This is your chance to reconnect with the work of foreign missions through an exciting tour of the OPC’s mission fields. Our guide will be Rev. Doug Clawson, who serves as the OPC’s Associate General Secretary for Foreign Missions. We hope that you will leave not only better informed, but also encouraged in your own service to Christ, and renewed in your desire to see disciples made in every nation. This is also a great time to connect with others from around our presbytery. We look forward to learning together, singing together, praying together, and (of course!) eating together. Lunch will be provided. We hope you will plan to join us. Just tell your pastor that you’re coming. If you’re not part of an OPC church, you can RSVP by replying to this email. We need your RSVP by April 9. |
Bring the family We want kids and teens to be involved in foreign missions! If your kids are coming, make sure to mention this in your RSVP. We want to be ready to help them enjoy the day.
